Welcome to my favourite & recommended flowers blog

(1) Dicentra (Bleeding Heart)

Dicentra - I love this plant. My parents had one in their garden when I was a child. Each year, from the baron earth, explode gorgeous tentacles of of wondrous beauty. Even though it flowers for a relatively short period of about 2-3 weeks, typically May in the UK, it’s abundant rows of pink hearts are an absolute delight! The tender stems are neatly organised with little pink hearts, out of which droplets of delicate white petals hang. Hence it’s common name ‘bleeding heart’.
