Hi, I'm Sarah, and as your dedicated gardener, I know that every season brings unique opportunities and tasks to help your garden thrive. From preparing for the vibrant burst of spring to winding down for winter's rest, understanding and responding to your garden's seasonal needs is key to its ongoing beauty and health.

My Seasonal Garden Maintenance, Planting & Landscape Gardening Works ensure your outdoor space is cared for throughout the year, laying the groundwork for continuous enjoyment and spectacular results.

Autumn & Winter Garden Maintenance

As Autumn is upon us and Winter approaches there's lots to do in the garden to close down this year and to put all the right things in place assist a stronger, better shaped and structured return from our existing plants and garden in 2024.

From seasonal garden maintenance, garden clearance and the clearing back & opening up of natural, planted and wild garden areas. Through the pruning, shaping, reducing of shrubs & trees and winter care for the less hardy plants. The planting of new shrubs, hedges and trees. Restoring existing landscape or introducing landscapes and garden features in preparation and readiness for when the sun and warm weather returns next year.

Now is the time to clear, prune back, open up space and reshape the natural contents of our gardens. To restore, mulch and improve beds and planted spaces. Cut back & put-to-bed perennials. Prune, shape or remove shrubs, trees, hedges climbers and topiary.

For tropical plants, palms and less hardy plants now is the time to wrap-up and help protect over the winter months.

It's also a great time to introduce new planted additions to the garden. Certainly bulbs for spring and also for the planting of new shrubs, trees, hedging, topiary varieties. Getting them settled into position and allowing roots to establish themselves before the warmth of spring kick-starts and activates their growth.

Now is also the time to start thinking about and putting in place changes to the gardens landscape. From restoration or reshaping of existing beds and planted spaces, fitting of weed protective membranes and treating of raised beds and planters. Through to design and build of new beds, planters, ponds and garden features.

Our Autumn & Winter services include:
